The Pilanthropist

Pemphero Mphande uses his influence to fundraise for different social causes. Firstly, he supports seven kids with secondary school fees personally. He also supports Maoni Orphanage with groceries in Chileka, Blantyre and also fundraises for them.

His most prominent work into fundraising was when he fundraised for Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in 2019 for  an oxygen cylinder pressure gauge valued at 300,000 Kwacha. By the end of the fundraiser he had raised more than 500,000 Kwacha.

This year Pemphero launched the Mtukule Mnzako initiative, a program aimed at supporting struggling up-and-coming entrepreneurs. He raised 700,000 Kwacha and had 712 people apply for the top Prize of 500,000 and second prize of 200,000. Following this 5 people are in contention for the 1st and 2nd prizes with the public voting.

Recently Pemphero Mphande fundraised for Louis Nsomba, a 20 year old handicapped young man in Blantyre. He raised 580,000 for him to set up a solar system for his phone repair workshop.
