Pemphero Mphande has published short stories online with African Writer. These include the “Meeting Oprah Winfrey” masterpiece. He also enjoys satire written as creative nonfiction for his Facebook audience with different stories every week.

He has a big following for his work on social media. Pemphero is also the author of What You See at Sunrise, the most anticipated book of 2020 to be released on 15th November, 2020. This book trended on all social media platforms where he run a book cover competition with three emerging as winners.

This book is everything about literature in most ways. It is fiction, non-fiction, satire and a parody. The first chapter is a short novel, detailing a civil war in Malawi. The chapter wants to create an imagination of what could have been or not in 2019 in Malawi when the country protested fraudulent election results. In doing so, beyond the amusement of Malawians, it is for the entire world to walk with me through this great parody and for once feel a part of us and our gone struggle.
